Joanne Thorndike is Managing Director in the BLX Boston office, bringing more than 15 years of experience to the firm. Ms.Thorndike was a founding partner of Burke, Perry & Thorndike LLC, a financial advisory firm focusing on non-profit institutions, including independent schools.

Her responsibilities include providing financial advisory services to BLX clients focusing on credit analysis, debt capacity evaluation and development of financing structures and strategies. Ms. Thorndike has provided financial advisory services to both higher education, health care and to other non-profit entities in New England and nationally.

Ms. Thorndike is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Colby College holding a BA in Economics and a MBA from the FW Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.
