Eric Chu is a Managing Director in the BLX Los Angeles office where he oversees the BLX Investment Advisory Practice area that develops and implements specialized investment vehicles (structured products) tailored to the needs of municipal entities. In addition, Mr. Chu co-heads the firm's Swap Advisory practice, and is a member of the BLX Management Committee.

Mr. Chu joined the Financial Services Group at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in 1992 and was responsible for establishing the firm's East Coast practice. From 1997 Mr. Chu worked with Hawkins, Delafield and Woods helping them launch their Financial Advisory and Services Group. In 2000 Mr. Chu returned to BLX to head up its New York office, and relocated in 2007 to the BLX office in Los Angeles.

A graduate of the University of California Los Angeles, Mr. Chu is a registered investment advisor representative holding an NASD Series 65 license.
