BLX opens Denver office; hires public finance veteran Jim Manire to head up business development in Rocky Mountain States

DENVER - MAY 24, 2010 - BLX Group LLC, a SEC-registered investment advisory firm that provides debt advisory, investment, and regulatory compliance services to state and local governments and 501(c) (3) borrowers, announced today that it has expanded its presence with the opening of an office in Denver, Colorado. Jim Manire, founder of James Capital Advisors, an independent financial advisor with over 25 years of professional experience specializing in Colorado government finance, will head the new Denver office. BLX now has nine offices across the country.
